The school was established in 1977 initially known an Natovi Junior Secondary School. It was renamed to its present name in 2005 when it became a high school as Form 5 or Year 11 was introduced.
It is a Catholic owned School under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Suva which is represented in the school by the Order of the Vincentian Fathers/Priest of Saint John the Apostle Parish. It is also a remote co-educational boarding school situated uphill overlooking the Natovi Jetty and the Lomaiviti Island groups with its breathtaking view. T
